Founder Alfonso González holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Engineering Computer Systems. As Chairman of Qualfon, a consecrated company, it is his mission to improve the lives of his employees, their families, and local communities through programs that foster the development of people.
Alfonso founded Qualfon in 1995, providing Internet access services from an office measuring 100 square meters and equipped with one computer. Never losing sight of his vision, he quickly built his fledgling company into a global BPO organization with 16,000 employees working in 24 sites serving communities of Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guyana, India, Mexico, Philippines and the United States.
Today, one important part of Alfonso’s mission is to ensure Qualfon acts as more than a business or a place of employment. Our mission is to help as many people as possible pursue their total vocation, and that’s due to the people-first philosophy Alfonso developed as a way to honor his faith. By consecrating Qualfon, Alfonso made a commitment to help people dream bigger, build stronger relationships, and have a positive impact on their families and communities. Instead of pursuing only profits, he’s created a company that can deliver superior service for clients while helping employees be the best possible version of themselves.

With a legacy of 12 years at Qualfon, Mike Marrow has transitioned from the role of Chief Executive Officer to contribute his wealth of experience and insight as a member of Qualfon’s Mission Advisory Board. His dedication to our mission remains unwavering, ensuring our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for clients, customers, employees, and communities.
Mike’s love of our business is based upon the fact that we get to serve many great companies. Each has a different business strategy. Each has a different perspective of what it means to provide the best customer experiences. Each has a different plan to drive sales and growth. We get to participate in all of those. As the use of advanced technologies to engage customers continues to increase, BPO and marketing services will evolve – and merge – and require increasingly complex solutions. We are investing in the technologies that will enable us to provide those complex solutions.
Mike served as the Qualfon CEO for 12 years and has a long track record in the industry. He served as the president and CEO of APAC Customer Services, Inc., as well as Managing Director of Call Center Services at Affiliated Computer Services and the COO of CyberRep. Prior to entering the BPO world, Mike held a variety of technology and industrial engineering positions.
Advisory Board Member
Brad Richmond, former CFO of Darden Restaurants, the largest owner/operator of full-service restaurants, brings his excellent business acumen to the Qualfon advisory board. His business expertise includes working on multiple brands in numerous locations, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and all aspects of financial reporting and operations.
Qualfon’s person-first mission and culture drew Brad to the company. He believes the world needs more companies that make it their priority to not only value employees, but also actively work to raise their standard of living.
Brad is proud to be a part of a business that has a positive effect on employees and the communities in which they live and work. He believes the customer experience and employee experience are intertwined, and he works tirelessly to ensure that Qualfon consistently exceeds client and employee expectations.
Brad currently serves on the boards of Ardent Leisure Group (an ASX listed company) and a number of not-for-profit organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri and is a Certified Public Accountant.
